WellGuide Consulting Services



WellGuides are health care professionals who help employees navigate their chosen wellness path by providing onsite, one-on-one motivation, education, guidance and support. Unlike a traditional telephonic wellness coach that works off a script, WellTrail’s WellGuides are critical thinkers that can constantly assess and respond to employee needs with customized solutions based on integrative medical knowledge. The result? Trusting relationships, reduction of health risk factors, sustained behavioral change, and improved employee satisfaction.

WellGuide Consulting Services include:



Initial kick-off meeting (motivational presentation + Health Risk Assessments and biometric screenings) Ongoing, onsite one-on-one employee health, wellness or injury consultations on a range of topics such as stress, weight loss, nutrition, physical activity, fatigue, general health, or high risk factors such as diabetes, smoking, and heart disease. Health Risk Assessments (HRAs)



WellTrail™ provides a customized menu of HRA options, including both written AND online versions to match your distribution style and goals. When partnered with WellTrail’s™ proprietary HRA delivery process, you will see over 85% participation rates among your available employee population – WITHOUT INCENTIVES. Studies show that simply taking a Health Risk Assessment results in a $100-$300 annual savings on healthcare costs – per individual.

WellTrail’s™ process takes the “Big Brother” fear out of HRA administration. Our reporting and administration process is completely confidential and HIPPA compliant. Employee Health (Biometric) Screenings



Employee Health (Biometric) Screenings are becoming a staple of corporate wellness programs across the country. Prior to a WellTrail biometric screening, WellTrail creates the foundation for lasting change by appealing to what intrinsically motivates each employee. Wellness Credit Programs



Despite the national debate, healthcare costs continue to soar. It is becoming increasingly difficult to manage ongoing premium increases without negatively impacting the financial soundness of your company and its employees. When companies are forced to pass along premium increases to their employees, a vicious cycle ensues: employees take home less pay, which in turn reduces their ability to pay for and utilize preventative and early intervention medical treatments, which leads to higher medical costs when employees seek care for problems that have escalated to a point where they have become very expensive to treat or cure. An unhealthy employee’s “reactive” medical costs leads to an increase in the employer’s “Experience Rating,” assigned by the insurer, which in turn leads to an increase in employee premiums all over again.

Injury Prevention and Management Services (IPMS)



WellTrail offers onsite injury prevention and management services to help employers control the costs of workers compensation and employee injuries. Rather than focusing on expensive and often ineffective ergonomic tools, our WellGuides assess your employees’ work environment, personal health and injury issues, and non-work demands to develop personal solutions to address prevention of injuries on the job. Just as one wellness solution does not fit every person, nor does one injury management model. Our medically-trained WellGuides will perform initial and ongoing evaluations of:
